Steel strips, also known as strip steel, are produced by shearing from steel coil through roll slitting equipment. The coil is slit to the desired width according to buyer requirements and market demand. Steel strips are categorized by process into hot rolled and cold rolled varieties, with all coils undergoing pickling before slitting.

Galvanized steel strip is a long, narrow strip of cold or hot rolled steel coated with zinc or aluminum. Hot dip galvanizing provides uniform coating, strong adhesion, and long service life through complex physical and chemical reactions that form a corrosion-resistant Zn-Fe alloy layer integrated with the steel substrate.
